Description
This belonged to my grandmother. Based on my research, it is a replica of a spoon sold by the gift shop at Woodlawn Plantation in Alexandria, Virginia, which was the first historic site held by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The crest and monogram are LEL for George Washington’s nephew Lawrence Lewis. It’s not super old but she would have purchase in the early 1970s. Very pretty. Did not polish but you could. Nice large size. Marked E.Lowens National Trust Replica.
